Tennessee High School Softball - Community bounces Loretto

April 27, 2026: Unionville, TN 37180

The Community Vikings softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Loretto Mustangs to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nolensville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 28. Community will confront a Knights team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Columbia Central (Columbia, TN). The Knights record now stands at 15-13.

With the loss, Loretto moves to 3-16 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Cascade (Wartrace, TN) to confront the Champions in a 2A District 9 battle on Tuesday, April 28. The Champions come into the battle with a record of 5-10. Cascade lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN)
