The Cascade Champions overwhelmed the visiting Loretto Mustangs softball squad by a count of 6-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Champions meet the Moore County Raiders (Lynchburg, TN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 30. Cascade will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 7-9 record after their 8-3 league win over Cornersville (Cornersville, TN).

The Mustangs (3-17) will now prepare for their test against Forrest (Chapel Hill, TN). The Rockets go into the 2A District 9 test with a 10-14 record. In their last test, Forrest was routed by Rockvale (Rockvale, TN), 4-3, in a non-league test.
