Alabama High School Softball - Alexandria bounces Cleburne County
April 28, 2022: Alexandria, AL 36250 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL) and the visiting Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL), witnessed Alexandria's softball squad prevail over Cleburne County by a count of 15-0.
The Valley Cubs now sport a 36-8 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a 5A Area 11 match on Tuesday, May 3.
With the loss, Cleburne County moves to 13-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Munford (Munford, AL) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, April 29. The Lions go into the match with a record of 13-10. Munford won 7-6 in their recent non-league match against Ashville (Ashville, AL)
