The South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) softball routed the visiting Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), 17-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blue Devils (17-1) will now prepare for their bout against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs go into the East Central 2A bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Wallace-Rose Hill was routed by South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 7-2, in a non-league bout.
