Spectators at Friday's league match between the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) and the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), witnessed East Rutherford's softball squad tip Polk County by a count of 3-2.

The Cavaliers now sport a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Hendersonville for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A match on Monday, May 1. East Rutherford will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-13.
