Iowa High School Soccer - Notre Dame knocks off Columbus
April 28, 2025: Burlington, IA 52601 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) and the visiting Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA), saw Notre Dame's soccer squad triumph over Columbus by a count of 9-1.
The Nikes (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Highland (Riverside, IA). The Huskies enter the SE IA Super battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Highland was overwhelmed by Central Lee (Donnellson, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Danville Bears (Danville, IA) in a SE IA Super battle, on Monday, May 5. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
