Ohio High School Softball - Anthony Wayne gets by Clay
April 28, 2025: Oregon, OH 43616 The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Anthony Wayne Generals (Whitehouse, OH) and the host Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH), observed Anthony Wayne's softball team get by Clay by a tally of 2-1.
The Generals (16-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH). The Lancers go into the non-league bout with a 14-2 record. In their last bout, Lincolnview tipped Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH), 14-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Wednesday, April 30. Clay will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record.
