Ohio High School Softball - Springfield bounces Anthony Wayne
May 5, 2025: Whitehouse, OH 43571 The Springfield Blue Devils softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Anthony Wayne Generals to 0 in the Blue Devils league win on Monday.
The Blue Devils now possess a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Napoleon for a Northern Lakes battle on Wednesday, May 7. Springfield will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Findlay (Findlay, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-12.
With the loss, Anthony Wayne moves to 17-3 on the season. The Generals travel to Whitmer (Toledo, OH) to confront the Panthers in a Northern Lakes battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 6-14. Whitmer won 4-3 in their recent league battle against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH)
