April 23, 2025: Holland, OH 43528 The Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH) softball routed the visiting Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH), 8-1 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Blue Devils now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clay for a Northern Lakes outing on Thursday, April 24. Springfield will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 6-2 league win over Napoleon (Napoleon, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Southview moves to 3-8 on the season. The Cougars host Central Catholic (Toledo, OH) to encounter the Fighting Irish in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 24. The Fighting Irish come into the outing with a record of 7-5. Central Catholic lost 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH)
