Ohio High School Softball - Clay bounces Southview
April 30, 2025: Sylvania, OH 43560 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) and the host Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH), observed Clay's softball team notch a victory over Southview by a tally of 25-8.
The Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Ross (Fremont, OH). The Little Giants go into the Northern Lakes bout with a 8-8 record. In their last bout, Ross was routed by Springfield (Holland, OH), 23-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Friday, May 2. Southview will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 4-3 league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH).
