North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA), 12-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, North Pocono improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Trojans host West Scranton (Scranton, PA) to play the Invaders in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 30. The Invaders enter the game with a record of 4-10. West Scranton lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)

The Cavaliers now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Abington Heights for a Lackawanna 1 game on Wednesday, April 30. Scranton Prep will play a Comets squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Comets record now stands at 10-2.
