In Saturday's non-league match, the host North Pocono Trojans softball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns.

The Trojans (13-3) will now prepare for their match against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, Delaware Valley tipped Scranton (Scranton, PA), 11-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Buckhorns battle the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 5. Wallenpaupack Area will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Comets go into the test with a 13-2 record after their 17-0 league win over West Scranton (Scranton, PA).
