Ohio High School Softball - River Valley nudges Pleasant

River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. River Valley will battle a Minutemen squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Pleasant falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Spartans host Galion (Galion, OH) to battle the Tigers in a Mid Ohio Athletic challenge on Monday, May 2. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-9.
