April 29, 2024: Greensboro, PA 15338 The crowd at Monday's league match between the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers (Houston, PA) and the host Mapletown Maples (Greensboro, PA), saw Chartiers-Houston's softball squad achieve victory over Mapletown by a count of 18-0.
The Buccaneers now sport a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host California for a WPIAL 1A 2 match on Tuesday, April 30. Chartiers-Houston will face a Trojans squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Avella (Avella, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Mapletown falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Maples host Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA) to face the Rockets in a WPIAL 1A 2 match on Tuesday, April 30.
