Pennsylvania High School Softball - Jefferson-Morgan bounces Mapletown
April 30, 2024: Greensboro, PA 15338 The Jefferson-Morgan Rockets routed the host Mapletown Maples softball squad by a final score of 13-3 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Rockets (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Buccaneers go into the WPIAL 1A 2 battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Chartiers-Houston notched a victory over California (Coal Center, PA), 7-0, in a league battle.
The Maples now possess a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Carmichaels for a WPIAL 1A 2 battle on Wednesday, May 1. Mapletown will confront a Mighty Mikes squad coming off a 2-0 league win over West Greene (Waynesburg, PA). The Mighty Mikes record now stands at 11-2.
