In Monday's non-league contest, the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) softball team held off the visiting Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ), by a margin of 2-1.

With the triumph, Summit moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ) to play the Bears in a UCC - Mountain contest on Tuesday, April 30. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 8-7.
