The Hunt Warriors baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting South Johnston Trojans to 4 in the Warriors league win on Tuesday.

The Warriors now hold a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fike for a Quad County 3A test on Thursday, May 1. Hunt will play a Demons team coming off a 12-1 league loss to East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Demons record now stands at 6-13.

With the defeat, South Johnston drops to 15-7 on the year. The Trojans host West Johnston (Benson, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Quad County 3A test on Thursday, May 1. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 17-6. West Johnston won 9-1 in their recent league test against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC)
