Washington, DC High School Lacrosse - Gonzaga overwhelms St. Mary's Ryken
April 29, 2025: Washington, DC 20001 The Gonzaga Eagles lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights to 4 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host St. John's for a Washington Catholic challenge on Friday, May 2. Gonzaga will clash with a Cadets squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Cadets record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, St. Mary's Ryken falls to 7-5 on the year. The Knights travel to St. John's (Washington, DC) to clash with the Cadets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Cadets go into the challenge with a record of 11-5. St. John's won 9-6 in their recent league challenge against Gonzaga (Washington, DC)
