Maryland High School Softball - Kent Island bounces North Caroline
April 29, 2025: Stevensville, MD 21666 The Kent Island Buccaneers softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting North Caroline Bulldogs to 3 in the Buccaneers league win on Tuesday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 30. Kent Island will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 13-1 league win over Bennett (Salisbury, MD). The Seahawks record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, North Caroline moves to 2-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Wicomico (Salisbury, MD) to confront the Indians in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 30. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 1-12. Wicomico lost 24-0 in their recent league battle against Mardela (Mardela Springs, MD)
