The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) baseball nipped the host Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA), 4-3 in Monday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a Pioneer contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Fighting Blues come into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 9-2 league loss to Highland (Monterey, VA).
