Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) and the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), saw Narrows's baseball squad beat Eastern Montgomery by a margin of 11-2.

Coming up next, the Green Waves play the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a Pioneer battle, on Tuesday, March 28. Narrows will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Fighting Blues enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 14-4 league win over Craig County (New Castle, VA).

The Mustangs now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Giles for a non-league battle on Monday, March 27. Eastern Montgomery will play a Spartans squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-4.
