Next, the Hornets play the Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 4. Loyd Star will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 11-5 league win over Richland (Richland, MS).
