April 30, 2022: Silver Spring, MD 20905 The Blake Bengals baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Damascus Hornets to 4 in the Bengals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bengals (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD). The Blue Devils go into the Montgomery County 4A - North match with a 1-11 record. In their last match, Springbrook was overwhelmed by Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD), 27-0, in a non-league match.
The Hornets (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Whitman tipped Blair (Silver Spring, MD), 6-1, in a non-league match.
