Connecticut High School Softball - Plainfield bounces Tourtellotte
April 30, 2022: North Grosvenordale, CT 06255 Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Tourtellotte Tigers (North Grosvenordale, CT), 23-8 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Griswold for a Eastern Connecticut - Small challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Plainfield will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Tourtellotte falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Putnam (Putnam, CT) to face the Clippers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Clippers enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Putnam lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT)
