Connecticut High School Softball - Windham bounces Tourtellotte
April 5, 2022: North Grosvenordale, CT 06255 Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Tourtellotte Tigers (North Grosvenordale, CT), 20-0 in a league challenge.
The Whippets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Harvard Ellis Tech for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. Windham will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 20-8 non-league win over Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Tourtellotte falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
