The Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) baseball got by the visiting Meadville Bulldogs (Meadville, PA), 5-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Ramblers now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren for a challenge on Thursday, May 1. Cathedral Prep will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 16-1 league loss to General McLane (Edinboro, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 0-10.

With the defeat, Meadville drops to 5-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 3. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Slippery Rock won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Grove City (Grove City, PA)
