La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), 7-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, La Porte moves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Slicers host New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, May 2. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 9-5. New Prairie won 20-0 in their recent league match against South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN)

The Wolves now possess a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Township for a non-league match on Thursday, May 1. Michigan City will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Hebron (Hebron, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.
