In Wednesday's league test, the West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN), by a count of 20-3.

Next, the Red Devils meet the Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 1. West Lafayette will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 1-9 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Attica (Attica, IN).

The Knights (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Benton Central (Oxford, IN). The Bison go into the Hoosier test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Benton Central toppled Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN), 11-9, in a league test.
