The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Lake Hornets (Lake, MS) and the host Scott Central Rebels (Forest, MS), saw Lake's baseball team gain a win over Scott Central by a tally of 16-2.

The Hornets (19-4) will now prepare for their battle against Union (Union, MS). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Union was overwhelmed by Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Rebels face the Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 5. Scott Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 7-10 record after their 5-3 league loss to Puckett (Puckett, MS).
