North Carolina High School Baseball - Pine Lake Prep holds off Mountain Island Charter

April 4, 2025: Mt. Holly, NC 28120

In Friday's league game, the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Mountain Island Charter Raptors.

The Pride (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears go into the Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A game with a 0-10 record. In their last game, Bradford Prep was overwhelmed by Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC), 10-2, in a league game.

Next, the Raptors play the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 7. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Rams go into the game with a 5-9 record after their 5-3 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC).
