Nevada High School Baseball - Mineral County nips Pyramid Lake

The Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) baseball got by the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV), 5-4 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Serpents now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wooster for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Mineral County will clash with a Colts team coming off a 14-8 league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Colts record now stands at 7-6.

With the defeat, Pyramid Lake drops to 5-7 on the year. The Lakers travel to Virginia City (Virginia City, NV) to clash with the Muckers in a 1A Northern challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Muckers go into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Virginia City lost 20-3 in their recent league challenge against Wells (Wells, NV)
