In Saturday's non-league game, the host Sacred Heart Prep Gators baseball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Woodside Wildcats.

The Gators (6-10) will now prepare for their game against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA). The Mustangs enter the Peninsula - Bay bout with a 9-6 record. In their last bout, Capuchino was nudged by South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA), 11-4, in a non-league bout.
