Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) and the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), witnessed Vernon Hills's lacrosse squad top Elk Grove by a count of 15-1.

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Caxys enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Lake Forest Academy was overwhelmed by Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL), 24-6, in a league test.
