New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN), 6-5 in a league test.

With the win, New Castle upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 9. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-1. Brownsburg won 3-2 in their recent league battle against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN)

The Cougars now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lapel for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 9. Greenfield-Central will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Park Tudor (Indianapolis, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
