In Monday's non-league challenge, the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) baseball squad edged the host Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN), by a final score of 16-15.

With the win, Mt. Vernon upgrades its record to 17-10 on the season. The Marauders travel to Anderson (Anderson, IN) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 30. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 15-12. Anderson lost 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Delta (Muncie, IN)
