In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) baseball squad the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), by a final score of 9-6.

With the win, Valhalla upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Norsemen host Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to battle the Matadors in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 12. The Matadors go into the game with a record of 5-8. Mount Miguel lost 9-3 in their recent non-league game against Viewpoint (Calabasas, CA)

The Centurions (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Mission Bay (San Diego, CA). The Buccaneers go into the City game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Mission Bay by San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA), 6-4, in a non-league game.
