April 6, 2023: Southbury, CT 06488 Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT), 12-9 in a league battle.
The Panthers now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wolcott for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 8.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) in a South West battle, on Tuesday, April 11. Masuk will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Nighthawks come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 13-8 non-league loss to Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT).
