Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Pomperaug can't get by Newtown
May 9, 2023: Southbury, CT 06488 In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Newtown Nighthawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Pomperaug Panthers.
The Nighthawks now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Norwalk for a non-league test on Saturday, May 13.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) in a South West test, on Thursday, May 11. Pomperaug will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record.
