April 6, 2024: McLean, VA 22101 Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Herndon upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Hornets host Heritage (Leesburg, VA) to battle the Pride in a non-league test on Thursday, April 11. The Pride come into the test with a record of 5-2.
With the defeat, McLean falls to 5-6 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA) to battle the Generals in a Liberty test on Friday, April 12. The Generals come into the test with a record of 3-7.
