April 6, 2024: Taylorville, IL 62568 Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) and the host Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL), saw Mt. Zion's baseball squad beat Taylorville by a margin of 10-0.
Coming up next, the Braves play the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 9. Mt. Zion will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Redbirds enter the battle with a 3-7 record after their 10-3 league loss to Morton (Morton, IL).
