The Beaver Bobcats baseball team (Beaver, PA), was overwhelmed 15-5 in Sunday's league outing with the visiting Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA)

The Vikings now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blackhawk for a WPIAL 4A 1 outing on Tuesday, April 9. Hopewell will confront a Cougars team coming off a 12-3 league loss to Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.

Next, the Bobcats confront the Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 1 outing, on Monday, April 8. Beaver will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA).
