Wheeler Eagles (Wheeler, MS) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS), 20-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Wheeler upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Eagles host Pine Grove (Ripley, MS) to play the Panthers in a 1A Region 1 game on Thursday, April 9. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 9-13. Pine Grove lost 13-5 in their recent non-league game against Kossuth (Kossuth, MS)
