In Tuesday's league match, the host Grant Generals softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the McDaniel Mountain Lions .

The Generals (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR). The Guardians come into the 6A Portland Interscholastic match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Ida B. Wells nipped Roosevelt (Portland, OR), 10-8, in a league match.
