April 8, 2022: Jasper, GA 30143 The Southeast Whitfield County Raiders baseball team (Dalton, GA), was overwhelmed 15-0 in Friday's league outing with the host Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA)
The Dragons now hold a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sonoraville for a non-league outing on Monday, April 11. Pickens will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 8-2 league win over Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 14-7.
Next, the Raiders confront the Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 outing, on Tuesday, April 12. Southeast Whitfield County will attempt to advance on its 3-23 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 16-7 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA).
