Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host State College Little Lions (State College, PA), 14-11 in a league test.

With the win, Altoona upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Mountain Lions host Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA) to clash with the Trojans in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game on Wednesday, April 10. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 2-2. Chambersburg lost 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Hempfield (Landisville, PA)

The Little Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Red Land (Lewisberry, PA). The Patriots go into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Red Land tipped Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA), 9-6, in a league game.
