The Taft Eagles lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Northside Mustangs to 2 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lane Tech for a Chicago Public challenge on Thursday, April 10. Taft will clash with a Champions squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Champions record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Northside falls to 2-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Grizzlies in a Chicago Public challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Grizzlies go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Payton College Prep won 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL)
