In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Taft Eagles lacrosse squad scored a good 14-4 triumph over the Northside Mustangs.

The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jones (Chicago, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Jones knocked off Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL), 14-6, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 9. Northside will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL).
