April 8, 2025: Barrington, IL 60010 Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), 11-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Barrington improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Fillies/Broncos host Warren Township (Gurnee, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 9. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 0-1. Warren Township lost 13-3 in their recent non-league game against McHenry (McHenry, IL)
The Golden Eagles now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hampshire for a game on Wednesday, April 9. Jacobs will play a Whip-Purs squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 3-0.
