Illinois High School Softball - Lake Zurich sneaks past Jacobs
May 3, 2025: Algonquin, IL 60102 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lake Zurich Bears softball team scored a tight 7-6 win over the Jacobs Golden Eagles.
The Bears (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats come into the match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Libertyville was nipped by Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 14-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) in a match, on Monday, May 5. Jacobs will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 2-6 record after their 22-9 non-league loss to McHenry (McHenry, IL).
