California High School Softball - Corning succumbs to Las Plumas

In Tuesday's league test, the Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a Butte View test, on Thursday, April 10. Las Plumas will attempt to advance on its 15-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Live Oak (Live Oak, CA).

The Cardinals (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Live Oak (Live Oak, CA). The Lions go into the Sacramento Valley test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Live Oak was routed by Orland (Orland, CA), 8-2, in a league test.
